Unlike conventional rooftop tents that require a separate platform or roof rack, this system has been designed specifically for the GWM Tank 300.

The rackless installation provides:

The slimline triangle-opening design combines a strong composite-fibre outer shell with a durable 280 g coated cotton tent body.

It is designed to provide protection against changing weather conditions, with a stated dynamic waterproof rating of 10,000 mm, static waterproof rating of 1,500 mm, and Level 6 wind resistance.

The low-profile shell also helps minimise unnecessary aerodynamic drag and keeps the Tank 300 from looking excessively top-heavy.

Comfortable Space for Two Adults

When opened, the tent provides a spacious sleeping area suitable for two adults, including taller occupants who may find compact rooftop tents restrictive.

Inside is a 2200 × 1280 × 30 mm memory-foam mattress, providing a comfortable sleeping surface without requiring a separate camp mattress. The internal space also allows light bedding or sleeping bags to remain inside when the tent is packed down.

Ventilation and Sunroof Access

Multiple windows and ventilation openings promote airflow while integrated insect screens help keep bugs out.
