Why Our Snorkel Project Has Taken Time
At TANK GARAGE, we believe that true engineering takes time — especially when every component is created from scratch for Australia’s demanding conditions.
Our snorkel system has taken longer than expected, because each part — from the main intake pipe to the mounting interfaces — has been individually designed, tooled, and produced using precision plastic moulds, purpose-built for heat, UV, corrosion and dust resistance.

During more than a year of testing, our team has continuously refined the mould tooling to achieve absolute accuracy and durability. The final phase focuses on upgrading one critical mould to the highest injection-moulding standard, ensuring the snorkel performs flawlessly in the harshest environments.

Our design also integrates complete solutions for airflow optimisation, vortex elimination, drainage and sealing, resulting in stable breathing performance in both on-road and off-road conditions.
Although the snorkel reached production-ready status in early 2025, we chose to pause release — not because of delay, but because we refused to compromise. Each improvement brings us closer to perfection, and the final tooling stage is now in progress. Once completed, production will begin immediately.

Every component is self-developed and self-manufactured, not purchased from external sources. This ensures consistent quality, reliability, and precision — values we never compromise.
Behind the Delay: Real Design Takes Time

Every stage of development tells a story of dedication.
The diagrams below represent our genuine process — from concept, 3D design, testing, to refinement — showcasing our understanding of product function, feedback, and design evolution.

These are not reference catalogues; they are the result of countless design iterations, real-world testing, and problem-solving.
When you see these drawings, you’re not just seeing a product — you’re seeing our engineering philosophy: build something that truly belongs to Australia.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and support.
This delay is not a setback — it’s a promise that what you’ll receive is a product worth waiting for.
